After researching the self-sustaining record of airports, 14 of them here in KY, I found not one was self sustaining. All received Federal and/or State and/or County tax monies to maintain operations. Remove aircraft property taxes and more monies will be taken from other government endeavors to support airports. By the way, others have posted examples
