    With Kentucky's public education perpetually behind the rest of America and grossly underfunded, it's about time we put our tax dollars where they will do the most good: in the future leaders of our state and nation!

    Except for another thing

    We certainly do pay lots of taxes, but educating our children is more important than building more roads, so I'll accept the proposal that we spend more (of the tax dollars we're obliged to give) on education and less on less-worthy items, such as wasting legislator's time on arguing about whether to post the ten commandments in public places!
