    Reduce crime

Yes reduce crime by making these dirtbags serve their entire sentence. Quit with the early releases and parole.

Evualuate this people get them help!

Making prisoners serve out their time will not prevent new offenders from commiting a crime!!!! Crime comes from things like poverty,& greed! Clear that up and then you'll start to see less crime! Unfortunately those things have been here since the beginning of time and aren't going anywhere!

Re: 2006 House Bill 198 (Prevent parole for certain violent offenders)

In veiw of the prison population, it would be stupid on behalf of the human race to lump all of the "violent" offenders in one shoebox. Each case should be looked at on a crime by crime basis.. We have counties that have had several "incidents" where some would think that the saying "one size fits all" may apply, but doesn't.  you may kidnap, murder, under pfo and never spend time in jail, you may break and enter, rob, murder and only spend 20yrs for the crime, then you may have 1 that committed one crime, and spends his whole life behind bars, due to uncontrolled circumstance, only to be the model prisoner, when those circunstances are gone.  We, as citizens are becoming a 2 for 1 sale, if we don't like what we see, lets lump it together and get rid of it.  Well, its time to get it right, find out what is making the roots rotten, and help make it grow into a produtive citizen.  We not only support the inmate, but the families too.
