1) Tax expenditures [by Anonymous Citizen on March 15, 2008]
Should or could this proposed tax increase be expended toward a KRS 75 District that also operates an ambulance service allowable under KRS 75? What if the district is using this funding because the high cost of operating an ambulance service, thus taking away from its obligated fire protection duties and equipment, training, etc?

In fact should any collected taxes under KRS 75 for operating the fire protection part of the law of the $.10 plus the proposed increase, be expendable by the district toward operating an allowable ambulance service under KRS 75?? If so then why allow the $.10 per $100 that can be assessed under currernt KRS 75 to operate an ambulance service?
