1) Not a good idea [by Anonymous Citizen on July 3, 2007] I think of Rep. DeCesare as one of the better Legislators but this bill isn't such a good idea. I am a grandparent raising grandchildren. The parents of these children have all had the "parenting classes" required by CPS. These classes are a real joke. From what I have seen they are nothing more than a jobs program to help Kentucky's college graduates get a job.
The present teachings need to be thrown out and real life experience classes need to be developed. The present classes do nothing in this aspect. These classes need to teach real life situations instead of someones theory of the way things should be.
Sorry Jim but these present state mandated classes are a joke. Ask those that have attended what they learned. Then give us a bill to expose or tell a Legislative study what is being taught versus what needs to be taught.
