The proposed amendment is not needed. There are already sufficient laws relating to public disturbances.

This Bill and others are only pre-filed at this time. No Bill will be considered or voted on until February while the Kentucky General Assembly is in session. I should point out that only about 50% of all Bills are even considered, due to lack of time. The 2007 Session will be a 30-working day session with hundreds of Bills filed. About half will get some type of consideration (hearings, discussion, debate, and maybe votes). Of that number, a small percent will pass and become law.

had the great pleasure of serveing 23 years in military protecting the Constitution of the United States. This bill appears to violiate the First Amendment. We just had a vote in the U.S. Senate and it was defeated --less than two months ago---are you trying to get active because we are getting closer to November. If you are really serious about this bill - withdraw it and resubmit after the Nov election..
