This bill is a horrible idea. It would increase the danger to the public created by very heavy trucks traveling slowly up and down the long, steep grades of eastern Kentucky because they violate the expectations of other drivers. Trucks of these weights are especially dangerous at night and during times of reduced visibility such as during fogs and forest fires.
