Introduced by Rep. Rob Wilkey (D) on February 2, 2005, to identify the selling of bottled water as non-competitive with the school breakfast or school lunch program. The bill would give the school council, or if none exists, the principal, the authority to permit the sale of bottled water at any time during the school day. The bill would require the school council, or if none exists, the principal, to develop a policy to establish how profits from sale of bottled water will be allocated.
